Chris here. The new episodes have been few and far between lately, but there are more on the way, and we'll be back on regular schedule soon! In the meantime, if you have Time Warner digital cable in Ohio, make sure to watch part one of The Pretty Swell Guys Television Extravaganza! It's available on channel 411, On Demand, under comedy. It's a great one hour special with former guests Steve Guy, Brian Allen Mitchell, Kirk and myself, and headliner Mike Conley. Check it out if you can, episode 2 should be up soon.

Pretty Swell Show 5 is coming this Halloween night!

This Halloween, the Pretty Swell Guys are back at the Funny Stop again with their quarterly stage show featuring videos, sketches, and the best stand-up comedy northeast Ohio has to offer! It’s Pretty Swell Show 5, 8:30 pm, 10/31/11!

Headlining the show is the 2011 World Series of Comedy winner, Ryan Dalton! Fresh from his dominating performance in Las Vegas, he is back in Akron bringing his amazing stand-up comedy to the Funny Stop stage. A Kent State graduate known for his sarcastic wit and hilarious observations, Ryan has been seen on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, and now he’s gonna be at Pretty Swell Show 5!

Mark Colella is your feature act for this show. A Cleveland favorite known for his deadpan style and one-liners, he’s also been Cleveland Magazine’s comedian of the year! Mark’s guest starred on WWE Smackdown, and he features at comedy clubs across the country!

Joining them in the stand-up portion of the show is Bill Boronkay. A multiple time local Emmy winner, former Channel 5 sports anchor, and cowboy boot enthusiast, Bill is the master of self-deprecation, and a very, very funny man.

Rounding out the lineup are the hosts of the Pretty Swell Guys podcast, Kirk Robinson and Chris Clem, bringing brand new sketches featuring their usual mix of characters, oddness and hilarity!

About Jayson Cross:

Jayson Cross always possessed a flair for entertaining others. As a child he would mimic his family members and create imaginary characters. During adolescence he was teased and, as a defense mechanism, developed a quick wit. Unbeknownst to him this would be the leading tool for his career.

Twenty years ago, this Chicago native followed his dreams and moved to NYC to begin a career in modeling and acting.

Jayson has been photographed for numerous magazines, including FHM, GQ and Details. He was the April, 2006 Playgirl centerfold and has shot campaigns for Kohl's, Budweiser, Bacardi, and Phat Farm.

Not just a pretty face, Jayson has also hosted WE Network's 3 Men and a Chick Flick and AMC's Date Night. Recently he was a guest on ABC's "The View".

In preparation for a film audition, he started performing at an open mic night at a local comedy club. Jayson fell in love. He quickly became a nationally touring comedian, opening for such acts as A Taste Of Honey, Richard Pryor Jr., Donnell Rawling (a.k.a Ashy Larry), Aries Spears and, most recently, Kevin Nealon.

Jayson Cross is a regular at comedy clubs in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles... and this week audiences at the Funny Stop will get their first ever chance to see him live and in person, headlining the show on our stage.
